Enjoy all four seasons with a visit to Shawano Lawn and Stone’s Garden Center. The Garden Center is home to our Nursery, Greenhouse and Gift Shop. Stop in to explore seasonal plants and gifts and get ideas for your next project with the help of our awesome staff.
Greenhouse – Flowers, Herbs, Vegetables
Springtime comes alive in our 1,250 sq ft greenhouse filled with beautiful flowers, herbs and vegetable plants. Select annuals for your flower beds or hanging baskets and flower pots to brighten your home and yard. Give your garden a head start with vegetable seedlings that are ready for transplanting. For your flower containers and planters, select from a wide range of starter plants and blooms or select one of our custom-designed planters ready for Mother’s Day and replenished throughout the season.
Nursery – Trees, Shrubs, Perennials
Our large perennial flower section includes native, shade, and drought-tolerant plants as well as Proven Winners varieties. We restock flowering perennial plants in the spring, summer and fall, so gardeners can plant fresh pops of color all season. We take pride in the care we give our nursery stock. So, no matter what season you are planting, our nursery stock is healthy and strong. We bring in fresh nursery stock throughout the season, so you can choose from a selection of new plants and fresh blooms every week.
Tackle any landscaping project with ease. We carry bulk topsoil, mulch and decorative stone, and our knowledgeable staff is happy to help with DIY landscaping and gardening projects. Bring in photos and measurements, and we will help you design a landscape or garden.
Shawano Lawn and Stone’s nursery offers a large selection of hardy and disease-resistant trees. Trees add privacy, shade, and beauty to your home, second home, or business. The nursery is stocked each spring with northern grown trees, shrubs, evergreens, roses, vines, shade trees, small ornamental trees, fruit trees, and flowering shrubs.
Shawano Lawn and Stone truly believes that we are the area’s best-kept secret when it comes to our Gift Shop, located in our Garden Center. Our small space is packed full of gifts and gardening products. Our pottery section features something for everyone. Year-round, we carry a large selection of pots and planters for outdoor plants, succulents, and house plants. Plant-lovers will find all of their potting and transplanting needs, including planters made of wood, metal, ceramic, concrete, and plastic.
Fall Décor and Christmas Haus
In the fall, we feature pumpkins and mums for Halloween jack-o-lanterns and fall decorating. Plus, the nursery stock shows off its fall colors. We top off the year by opening our Christmas Haus on the third Friday of November. We completely transform the gift shop into a winter Wonderland for the Christmas holiday season. In addition to hosting numerous holiday workshop events, we carry a large selection of custom-made wreaths, kissing balls, and locally grown greens for holiday decorating. We create custom porch pots in various sizes, sure to last all winter long. Our lighted Christmas tree lot is full of Balsam, Canaan, & Fraser Fir trees, locally grown by Hanauer Farms. Stop in and browse the Christmas Haus for holiday gifts designed in multiple Christmas themes.

Visit the Shawano Lawn and Stone Garden Center year-round for plants, gifts and helpful advice for your gardening and landscaping projects. The Garden Center is open from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday; 9am-4pm Saturday; and 10am-3pm Sunday at 950 S. Waukechon St., Shawano. The Garden Center is closed for snowplowing after snowstorms and is closed on weekends in January, February, and March.
